FIC is the largest and oldest finance club on campus. The mission of the Finance and Investment Club is to support the development of future financial professionals not only in their field, but in the university and the community at large.
What We Offer
Peer Mentorship Program
Our Peer Mentorship Program pairs experienced upperclassmen with underclassmen seeking growth in finance, investment, and career development. Mentees receive personalized guidance, build connections, and get support for their academic and professional paths, including internship exploration, market knowledge, and financial skill enhancement.
Investment Simulation
Our semester-long Investment Simulation lets members manage virtual portfolios with live market data. Participants compete for highest returns, gaining risk-free experience in market behavior, risk management, and strategic decision-making—sharpening investing skills for finance careers.
Workshops & Guest Speakers
We host diverse hands-on workshops to develop career and technical skills, covering resume building, LinkedIn optimization, and Excel for financial analysis. These interactive sessions provide practical tools for internships, job searches, and classroom projects.
Wall Street Prep Access
Northeastern University Finance and Investment Club members can now access Wall Street Prep’s financial modeling & interview prep courses for a deeply reduced fee of $250.
